Description
ICON Engineering is a growing 43-person civil engineering firm based in Centennial, CO specializing in stream restoration, stormwater and roadway design, floodplain engineering, master planning, and parks/trail design. We are seeking a proposal writer to assist our Marketing Manager with internal and external marketing efforts related to organization, preparation, and production of professional services proposals for civil engineering services. Candidates with Adobe software experience, especially InDesign, is a MUST, as is past working experience with AEC industry marketing and proposal efforts. This position is predominantly in-office based on coordination with marketing and technical staff. The ability to work remotely when needed and/or flex hours is available, respecting deadlines. Essential Responsibilities
- Assist with downloading and organizing proposal solicitations
- Assist in preparing statements of qualifications and proposals
- Gather and organize company information, project information, project photos, resumes, graphics and relevant experience for inclusion in submissions
- Proofread and edit text for clarity, consistency, and grammar
- Ensure compliance with submittal requirements, including forms, certifications, page count, attachments, signatures
- Help maintain proposal templates and coordinate resume and project description updates with staff
- Assist with proposal production, delivery and electronic uploads
- Perform general administrative duties related to marketing
- Organize and maintain digital file systems for marketing content
- Assist in creating marketing material such as infographics and brochures
- Graphic design and social media experience is a plus

- Salary range for this position is $65k to $80k, dependent on experience. All inquiries will be handled confidentially.
Requirements
- Strong writing and editing skillset, including spelling, grammar, and formatting
- Meticulous attention to detail, ability to stay on task
- Proven ability to manage and meet multiple deadlines
- Familiarity with public-sector procurement processes
- Must have creative production proficiency in Adobe InDesign
- Positive, proactive communication style and comfort working with technical staff
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in related field of work
