Description

Fortunato Construction Group is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Director of Marketing and Business Development to join our team. In this position, the successful collaborator will:

· Establish programs to accomplish marketing-related aspects of our mission and strategic initiatives
· Develop strategic marketing and business development plan and budget
· Manage response preparation for prequalifications, proposals, and presentations by coordinating with proposed team, external partners, and clients to develop complete, thoughtful and successful proposals
· Lead, coordinate and manage collateral materials development, advertising programs, recruitment efforts and corporate identity development and implementation
· Develop new design ideas for marketing materials
· Manage and coordinate internal and external events
· Grow the firm’s network by representing the firm to clients, peer organizations, and business associates, and potential future employees
· Manage client-contact program
· Develop and maintain the firm’s digital presence by developing company-centric and industry-relevant content for Fortunato Construction Group’s website and social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
· Draft press releases announcing new hires, projects won, projects completed, etc
· Maintain marketing library
· Work collaboratively with team members
· Manage resources to produce excellent, high-quality results
· Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
· Be a brand champion

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Journalism, Graphic Design, English, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field is preferred
· AEC Industry experience is required
· Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, is required
· Proficiency in MS Office
· Proficiency across major social media outlets (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram) and knowledge of best practices
· Strong writing and editing skills, and exceptional graphic layout design skills
· Strong organizational skills
· Ability to prioritize multiple tasks amid changing needs and demands, while maintaining a constant attention to detail

This position works out of the Berlin, CT office and offers flexibility for remote work as needed.
