Position: Proposal / Marketing Coordinator
Grimm + Parker Architects is a diverse group of architects and designers who serve our clients and their neighborhoods through the design of schools, libraries, mixed-use developments, multi-family residential spaces, and a wide array of cultural and civic buildings. We have an immediate opportunity for a dynamic and motivated Proposal/Marketing Coordinator to join our Marketing + Business Development team. The position will focus on firm-wide marketing initiatives, working both independently and collaboratively with the Marketing team and the firm’s senior leadership to win projects for all sectors.
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Developing creative, deadline-driven requests for proposal (RFP) submissions for new business opportunities.
- Coordinate and participate in proposal development and shepherd technical staff through the process.
- Ability to coordinate proposals from initial conception through final delivery, including content development, technical writing, editing, and proposal presentation.
- Work with technical staff to ensure that winning themes, differentiators, and market strategies are integrated throughout the document.
- Organizing and updating project information, imagery, and firm CRM databases (Deltek Vantagepoint) on a regular basis.
- Assist in company initiatives to include maintaining the company website and the preparation and distribution of external communications (press releases, announcements, direct mail, social media, etc.), photography, award submissions, conference preparation and brochures.
- Assist with new business development initiatives and tracking.
- Perform and assist team with other duties as needed.
Requirements
Required qualifications:
- 3+ years of marketing/proposal development, A/E/C experience a plus.
- Strong understanding of desktop publishing, presentation, and other marketing related software, including Adobe CC (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work in deadline driven environment.
- Knowledge of graphic design principles.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and storytelling skills, including writing and editing.
- Highly organized to handle multiple, simultaneous tasks and deliverables.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Degree in Marketing or related field a plus.
