Description
Charles Vincent George (CVG) Architects, a 36-person, award winning multi-sector architectural design firm located in Naperville, IL is seeking to hire a part-time Digital Communications Coordinator who would work closely with the firm’s Office Manager and Consulting Chief Marketing Officer (CCMO) on recurring digital communications initiatives specific to website and social media (specifically Pinterest & Houzz accounts). This hourly role is envisioned as requiring 12-16 Hours over 3-4 days per week and can be filled as a remote position.
Requirements
Key responsibilities include:
Website Updates / Maintenance:
Utilize existing or enhanced tool to keep track of projects in progress or newly completed/photographed so that they can be posted to the website in a timely manner.
Proactively reach out over email, Teams chat, or schedule time to meet with Project Managers (PMs) for project updates.
Track imagery deliverables (plans/sections/elevations, renderings, fly-throughs, photography) – especially timing/when expected.
Based on training to be provided for the website’s back-end/custom-built Content Management System (CMS), add new/in-progress projects to On-the-Boards section of website
Move project to correct sector on website as projects progress and keep both project descriptions and imagery up-to-date.
Update “Insights” section of website with newly published Thought Leadership/Articles.
Coordinate with website consultant and internal technical resources, as needed, for other ad hoc website updates requested.
Social Media Support:
Participate in social media planning calls with external Marketing Consultant.
Gather images and upload to Google Drive as requested.
Facilitate internal approvals.
Maintaining Pinterest & Houzz:
Coordinate with CCMO to develop and implement comprehensive Pinterest & Houzz strategies aligned with the firm's business development and marketing goals specifically for the Residential sector.
Identify target audiences and create content strategies to engage them effectively.
Review current set ups and optimize the firm's profile to reflect the brand accurately and attract potential clients. Ensure all profile information, including contact details and service offerings, are up-to-date and complete.
Work with designers and project managers to gather content and information for profile updates.
For Pinterest - Curate/design visually appealing and high-quality pins showcasing the firm's projects and design processes:
Organize and optimize boards and pins for better user experience and discoverability.
Optimize pin descriptions, titles, and board descriptions with targeted keywords to improve search visibility.
Experiment with new pin formats, such as video pins and story pins, to keep the content fresh and engaging.
For Houzz - Curate and upload detailed project portfolios with high-quality images, project descriptions, and client testimonials:
Highlight unique design aspects and architectural solutions to showcase the firm's expertise.
Maintain a consistent flow of new project uploads, blog posts, and updates to keep the profile active and engaging.
Utilize Houzz's features like Ideabooks and Photo Stream to organize and present content attractively.
For both channels - Employ best practices and replicable process including:
Regularly conduct keyword research to identify relevant and trending terms in the architectural and design industry.
Collaborate with the design team to ensure imagery used has client approvals and is the most up-to-date.
Regularly update and maintain both accounts, ensuring a consistent posting schedule.
Engage with followers, respond to comments, messages, inquiries, reviews, and build a community around the firm's presence.
Follow and interact with industry influencers, potential clients, and relevant accounts to increase visibility.
Monitor and analyze the performance of pins/posts. Generate monthly reports to track growth, engagement, lead generation, and ROI, providing insights for continuous improvement.
