Since our founding in 1946, Alfred Benesch & Company has specialized in providing civil and structural engineering services to our clients in transportation and infrastructure development. Today, we are a multi-disciplined engineering and environmental services firm with clients across the country. Our projects range in size and complexity from large scale, high-profile public improvements to smaller, more focused assignments. Our clients include federal, state and municipal government agencies, real estate developers, private corporations and architectural firms.
Benesch employs more than 500 professional and support personnel in Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Wisconsin and Washington, D.C. We employ engineers, construction managers, landscape architects, planners, designers and scientists that rank among the highest in their professions. Our services range from initial planning and feasibility studies through to construction management. Our personnel has provided site development and landscape architecture, have inspected thousands of railroad and highway bridges, supervised miles of interstate construction work and managed the renovations of train stations, airport facilities, schools and intermodal rail yards.
