BACKGROUND
Beaudin Ganze Consulting Engineers, Inc. (BGCE) provides mechanical, electrical, lighting, technology, commissioning, energy analysis, and LEED consulting services from six offices located in Vail, Denver, Fort Collins, Sacramento, Lake Tahoe and Albuquerque. We have 55 employees, including 35 LEED Accredited Professionals.

An early proponent of sustainability, Beaudin Ganze was selected to be the mechanical/electrical engineer for the Aspen Sundeck Restaurant, one of the first structures to be certified in the U.S. Green Building Council’s pilot Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) Program. The firm gained invaluable experience and has since provided building design and commissioning services on hundreds of sustainable projects throughout the country, and continues to develop its reputation as a leader in the industry.

Since the firm’s inception in 1991, BGCE has approached projects with the overriding goal of providing solutions that foster value for clients. Whether it is increased energy efficiency, reduced operating and maintenance costs, first cost economy, or all of the above, BGCE pursues a process of project development that is both analytical and creative, examining opportunities within the realm of possibility. This approach resulted in sustainable design solutions, long before the industry had grasped the escalating importance and value that sustainability represents. BGCE continues to draw on that wealth of experience and expertise for every project.

Whether clients require commissioning of existing systems to plan a facility’s needs or turn-key execution of systems upgrades or replacement, Beaudin Ganze provides quality control services such as building commissioning, and project delivery services such as design-build construction management, working closely with each client to select appropriate and effective solutions.

LEED CONSULTING
LEED is a nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction, and operation of high performance sustainable buildings. LEED gives building owners and operators the tools they need to have an immediate and measurable impact on their buildings’ performance and a whole-building approach to sustainability. The LEED consultant informs the design and construction team on green building and the LEED rating system, and facilitates the documentation process to help ensure certification.

ACCESSIBILITY
Responding quickly to project needs is of vital importance to BGCE. The firm owns and pilots a 2001 Piper Meridian jet prop aircraft - a resource that allows us to reach project sites quickly without the constraints of commercial travel challenges.
