BLT Architects is a 130-person architectural/interior design firm specializing in resort/hospitality, multi-family residential, higher education, and corporate projects. BLT is in the top two percent of all architectural firms nationwide, measured by size by the American Institute of Architects firm survey. The firm has earned industry acclaim for its commitment to quality of its design, project delivery, cost awareness and team management. BLT collaborates with clients to achieve and exceed their project and strategic goals through dynamic and meaningful architectural expression.
Company History
BLT Architects began life in 1961 as Bower & Fradley Architects, when John A. Bower, Jr. and Frederick M. Fradley set up their drafting tables in Bower’s Philadelphia living room. Over the ensuing 47 years, the firm, now known as BLT Architects, grew exponentially and added interior design and architectural master planning as full services. Although its roots are firmly embedded in Philadelphia, BLT Architects has extended its professional reach to projects throughout the United States, opening its Las Vegas and Atlanatic City offices in 2006 and 2007 respectively.
