Company Overview
Established in August 1996, BonTerra Consulting is a certified woman-owned small business enterprise that provides environmental planning, natural and cultural resources management services to public and private sector clients throughout southern and central California. 
The six principals of the firm -- Joan Patronite Kelly, AICP, Thomas E. Smith Jr., AICP, FSMPS, CPSM, Kathleen Brady, AICP, Ann Johnston, Tina Andersen, and Dana Privitt, AICP-- have over 140 years of collective, hands-on experience in environmental planning, impact assessment, natural resources management, biological surveys, and city and regional planning studies for public private sector clients.
Project experience includes: infrastructure systems such as transportation corridors, highways, and bridges, airports, transmission lines, landfills, material recovery facilities (MRFs), wastewater and water supply facilities; master planned communities; parks, golf courses, and recreational facilities; entertainment theme parks; and urban in-fill projects, including office complexes, mixed-use employment and retail business parks, aerospace conversions, and commercial/retail centers.
