Cosentini Associates was established in 1952 to provide consulting services in the mechanical and electrical engineering disciplines. As a result of the company's commitment to quality and client satisfaction, it has grown to be one of the largest and most respected consulting engineering firms in the country. The focus on clients’ needs has brought many repeat clients and long-term relationships. Cosentini Associates provides the following engineering services: HVAC, Electrical Power, Fire Protection, Plumbing, Telecommunications, Security, Audiovisual, Specialty Lighting, Energy Conservation and Sustainable Design, Civil/Site Engineering, Commissioning and Construction Services.
Cosentini’s practice employs over 350 professionals in its offices in New York, NY; Cambridge, MA; Chicago, IL; Orlando, FL; and Freehold, NJ. Working closely with leading architects, the firm has participated in the design of many of the world’s most innovative and celebrated buildings of the past several decades. Projects include residential towers, major mixed use developments, athletic facilities (including natatoriums), hotels, high-rise commercial office buildings, academic facilities, healthcare and R&D facilities, courthouses, museums, performing arts centers, etc.
In 1999, Cosentini greatly expanded the engineering and design resources it offers its clients by joining Tetra Tech, Inc., a nationwide alliance of more than 100 offices specializing in engineering design, construction management, resource management and infrastructure, telecommunications support services, applied science and management consulting.
