For us, a successful project is one in which we have contributed to the aesthetic and functional goals of a building, while making the project easier to construct and more economical to build.
Our success has given us many opportunities to grow and expand into new market areas yet we have carefully managed this growth to ensure that it does not interfere with our focus. Our principals remain actively involved in every major project. The team you meet on day one will be with you until project completion.

Coughlin Porter Lundeen’s excellence in project management has strengthened our proactive reputation in the industry. Our engineers pay extremely close attention to the work of other consultants to ensure the entire project comes together.
Our principals have intentionally created a firm with almost no hierarchy. Instead, we have developed an organization totally focused on our work and on meeting our clients’ needs. As a result, our people are more flexible and are always willing to play whatever role a project requires. The principals’ focus and involvement on projects gives them a constant working knowledge of our clients’ needs and project status. This “hands-on” approach gives us the ability to anticipate project needs and assign the appropriate technical staff.
Communication with other consultants is a daily activity for us. We consistently e-mail and phone our consultants to ensure we each have the information we need. We conduct thorough reviews of other consultants’ drawings on a regular basis, as well as document and follow up on all necessary changes and alterations. We pay a great deal of attention to the needs of other disciplines involved in building design. We have worked with many mechanical and electrical contractors to achieve the best overall quality, value, and future flexibility possible.
