CS Consulting Engineers, Inc. (CSCE) is a full service mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineering firm, providing consulting and design services for the building construction industry. CSCE is a Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB).
CSCE has provided engineering services for a wide variety of projects throughout the United States, and has resources in metropolitan Washington, DC, New York City, NY and Boston, MA areas. Members of CSCE’s staff have professional engineering (PE) licenses in about 38 states. The types of projects for which CSCE has provided engineering services include:

CSCE provides engineering services for private sector projects, as well as government projects as well as design-build projects. Also, CSCE has provided engineering services to numerous small clients, as well as for large, well known clients, such as the Smithsonian Institute and the United States Secret Service. Members of CSCE’s staff have also provided engineering services for complex HVAC projects, such as the Getty Center in Los Angeles, CA and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York City, NY. The complexity of MEP projects designed by CSCE’s staff ranges from simple VAV systems and lighting system upgrades to complex HVAC systems utilizing thermal storage systems, high density data center systems, desiccant HVAC systems and LED lighting systems.
CSCE has extensive experience designing projects that are LEED certified, including LEED platinum projects, and one of the first LEED Silver stand-alone parking garages.
Company History
CS Consulting Engineers, Inc. (CSCE) was founded in 2006, by Mr. Charles J. Szollosy. Prior to 2006, the current offices of CSCE were the Rockville, MD (metropolitan Washington, DC) offices of Collective Design Associates, LLC, a Norwalk, CT (metropolitan New York City, NY) based firm, established in 1989. CSCE is a Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB). Mr. Szollosy received his Master’s Degree, in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Mr. Szollosy also was an officer in the U. S. Army.
