Dana B. Kenyon Company (DBK) is an established construction company serving a broad range of commercial and industrial markets. Headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida since 1983, DBK is recognized both regionally and nationally as an industry leader and is known for managing some of the most challenging projects in both the private and public sectors.
Company History
The Kenyon family has a long history of involvement in construction in Jacksonville. Earl Kenyon formed E.C. Kenyon Construction in 1944. Dana B. Kenyon joined his Father’s business in 1960. In 1983 Matthew E. Kenyon, Dana B. Kenyon and John Griner incorporated Kenyon-Griner Company. In 1987, upon John Griner’s retirement, Matt and his father changed the name of the company to Dana B. Kenyon Company. Dana Kenyon retired in 1997 and Matt Kenyon, Chairman of Dana B. Kenyon Company, continues the heritage begun by his father and grandfather.
Joe Bajalia, as President of Dana B. Kenyon Company, focuses on providing leadership and vision in directing the company’s growth and success strategies. He empowers our associates and partners in utilizing the complimentary strengths of those within the organization. He leads the daily activities and, along with Chairman Matt Kenyon, leads the long-range planning of the company. Joe is ultimately responsible for contractual agreements and client relations. The company has grown successfully through complex projects, including design-build construction, such as hospitals, nursing homes, schools, alternative energy, railroad, automotive, transportation, aviation, residential, warehouses, and multiple types of facilities.
