Edifice is a regional general contractor headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina with offices in Greenville and Charleston, South Carolina. With projects from the mountains to the coast in North Carolina and from the Upstate to the Low Country of South Carolina, we take pride in covering the entire Carolinas.
Since its inception in 1978, Edifice has grown to become one of the leading commercial contractors in the Southeast and is an Engineering News-Record(ENR) top 400 U.S. general contractor. The Edifice team is comprised of 170 full-time employees and has expert project management and supervision for pre-construction and construction management services.
Edifice has a diverse portfolio (K-12, higher education, municipal, industrial, faith-based, medical office, senior living, office, corporate interiors, entertainment) of projects ranging from complex multi-faceted structures to interior renovations. Over the years, Edifice has developed a reputation for tackling the unique and challenging, while delivering the highest quality services in general construction, construction management, and design-build delivery methods. With an outstanding performance record, Edifice has been recognized by numerous industry associations for excellence in construction, a strong commitment to quality, and above all else, client satisfaction. The company has been awarded sixty (60) project-specific awards.

This was evidenced most recently by Edifice being named “General Contractor of the Year” by the Metrolina Minority Contractors Association, in conjunction with the North Carolina Subcontractors Alliance.
