Lessard Design, Inc. (LDI) provides architecture, planning and interior design services
for new construction as well as renovation, expansion, redevelopment and adaptive
re-use projects. The firm’s architects have designed high-rise, mid-rise and low-rise
buildings with a variety of structural framing systems including concrete, steel and wood.
Lessard’s clients value the broad-reaching expertise of the people of Lessard who are
ably supported by firm’s depth of services and resources. The founder, Chris Lessard,
has practiced since 1982, having designed and seen built hundreds of residential buildings
ranging from single family homes to townhomes to high-rise apartments and luxury
condominiums. The firm’s practice has expanded and today Lessard’s expertise spans
several sectors and project types including mixed-use, retail, office, hotels and spas,
student housing, military privatization, green design, urban and town planning, and interior
design. It is this combination that has led to the firm’s “one-stop-shop” reputation.
Based in the Washington, DC-metro area, the people of Lessard Design can provide
services across the United States as well as the Middle East and India regional markets.
The firm and its leaders have experience working in nearly 20 countries with projects in
the Americas, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
Having received more than 460 national and regional industry awards, Chris Lessard’s
projects have been built across the country. Projects designed by staff of Lessard
