A significant RS&H course is on project management. The training begins with defining project scope and services, followed by project start-up processes, project execution and project completion analysis. Principles learned in the training program are implemented through internal processes, that include the development of the project plan and other integrated reporting tools, including the BST financial management system. To reinforce the skills learned in the course, Project Management Review meetings take place by specific program on a scheduled basis. The PM Review meeting fulfills several specific objectives, such as peer review, sharing lessons learned, resource allocation review and demonstrating an understanding of the financial precepts supporting the project plan and ultimately the company goals.
At RS&H, the cornerstone of the internal training program is on the job training under the guidance of senior technical professionals. Technical training takes place within programs and across disciplines to ensure continuous improvement and updating technical knowledge on an on-going basis. Whenever possible, this training also supports the professional development process for architects, engineers and other disciplines with continuing education licensing requirements. RS&H is an AIA Continuing Education System Provider.
RS&H supports a training and development curriculum that encompasses business objectives and the development of associates. The curriculum continues to grow and includes foundation courses for leadership development, interpersonal skills, presentation speaking skills and business skills development.
