USA is also pre-qualified by the State of New
Jersey Division of Property Management and
Construction and Economic Development Authority
for an unlimited dollar amount in Architecture.
Additionally, the firm was ranked #1 by the
Eastern Pennsylvania Business Journal as the
largest architectural firm by number of
registered architects. Even with our explosive
growth to fifty professionals, we have retained
key players over time, adding stability and
continuity to our projects and processes, while
diversifying our resources to offer clients more
specialized services such as construction
administration, code analysis, barrier-free
design, fire/life safety renovations, historic
restoration, master planning, security, roofing
and interior planning and design.
Company History
Arnaldo Untoria and Paul Swartz founded Untoria
Swartz Associates in July of 1985, later
simplifying the company name to USA Architects.
USA was then located in Warren, New Jersey, where
some of the firm’s first corporate, and research
and development facilities were designed.
The firm expanded steadily-outgrowing three
relocations-and is now headquartered in
Somerville, New Jersey. Several years ago, the
firm strategically expanded operations into
Pennsylvania to better serve clients there.
Success in this market led to a relocation of
this second office to Easton to outfit our
growing employee base. Both offices continue to
receive exciting and challenging commissions.
