In our eighth decade and third generation of family leadership, Zachry is a privately owned construction and materials company with a legacy of success earned by seeking opportunity over security.
Since our first project in 1924 – a $40,000 contract from the Texas Highway Department to construct four construct four concrete reinforced bridges in Laredo – Zachry has completed more than 5,500 public and private sector projects across the country and around the world, including highways, bridges, dams , runways, commercial facilities, power generation plants, chemical refineries and industrial manufacturing plants. With a renewed focus on heavy and building construction and materials, Zachry is looking for the next generation of innovators to continue in the tradition of making the world a better place, one project and one community at a time.
